This service is designed to support you on days when you need just a little bit of extra help! This could be an extra busy day at work, a day where you have an event to attend or just because you’re away at the office for too many hours. One of our lovely community members will spend time with your dog during the day and make sure your dog gets a walk, food or just some love and attention!
Daycare in Your Own Home
Just like our overnight service you can also book daycare in your own home.This is ideal for days when you will be out of the house for too many hours or when you just want to plan some company for your dog during the day. A trusted member of our community will come to your home to care for your dog. This option is great for all dogs but could be extra helpful if you have a very young puppy at home or a senior dog who prefers staying in his own space! You can choose a full day of daycare (approx. 8 hours) or a half day (approx. 4 hours) depending on what is best for your dog.
Daycare in a Dog Sitter's Home
If you prefer care in a dog sitter’s home and think your dog could benefit from a change, you can also book the same trusted daycare service at the home of a suitable dog sitter from our community. We would try to match you to someone based on your location and your dog’s needs and preferences, and you can drop your dog off for the full day (approx. 8 hours) or a half day (approx. 4 hours). This service is also helpful for days when you need to be away for many hours for an appointment, a concert or just the local wine festival!
Full-Days of Fun
This service lasts a full workday or 8 hours and the dog sitter will make sure your pup has a blast all day long. After a full day of relaxation, play, and pampering from our dog sitters, we won't be surprised if your dog hardly even misses you!
Half-Day Hangout
Need a shorter option? Our half-day daycare (4-hour) option is just the thing! Whether it’s the morning or afternoon, your dog can get a quick dose of playtime, a meal, a walk, or anything else they need. So, you can focus on what you need to without worrying about your pup missing their mid-day walk or meal.
Routine, Just Like Home
We know how important your dog’s daily routine is for their comfort and happiness. That’s why we stick to their schedule perfectly—from feeding times to belly rubs and everything in between. Whether it’s medication, special care, or extra cuddles, we’re here to make sure nothing feels out of the ordinary!
What’s included in the service?
Your dog gets attentive care throughout the day. Depending on whether you book a full day or half day, the dog sitter will follow your routine and can provide:
- Walks
- Feeding during the day if needed (food is provided by you)
- Playtime, stimulation and company
- Medication or supplements if needed
- Any specific daytime needs
- Regular updates so you know your dog is relaxed and settled
Our Booking Process for Daycare Bookings
- You create an account with us, add your dog to your profile and send us a booking request. It’s easy! You can just start here and our system will guide you through the entire process.
- For Daycare bookings you can send us a request in two ways:
- Daycare one-time: in this type of request you will need to choose specific dates you need a dog sitter to care for your dog
- Daycare weekly: in this type of request you can tell us which days of the week you need someone to care for your dog and the timings on these days. We will create a list of dates accordingly and help you finalise these with the dog sitter when you need to confirm the booking
- It is also important to note that for daycare bookings we often need to use the services of more than one dog sitter from our community to cover all the dates in your request
- Once we receive your request with these details we either come back to you with questions or match you to a suitable dog sitter from our community.
- Then we organise a meeting so you and your dog(s) can meet the dog sitter. The meeting is always at the location of the booking (your home or the dog sitter’s home)
- After your meeting with the dog sitter we check if you are comfortable proceeding and if you decide to proceed we process your booking
- During confirmation, among other things we will also ask you to share detailed information about your dog’s schedule and the care the dog sitter needs to provide while you are away, so everything is 100% ready before your booking
- You will also need to make a small advance payment to confirm your booking and once this is paid, your booking is confirmed to both you and the dog sitter!
- Please note: no booking is considered confirmed till all the above steps are complete including payment. This is necessary to ensure the dog sitter’s dates are not double booked and also for our insurance protection to properly apply.
